Zellige is a popular form of art and has been in existence in Morocco for centuries. Wall Zellige is predominantly used on water feature and fountain as well as in the kitchen and bathroom as a symbol of wellness, royalty and power. Zellige making is considered an art in itself. The art is transmitted from generation to generation by maâlems (master craftsmen). A long training starts at childhood in order to master exceptional skills. Here You can see and download zellige color palete.

The Moroccan home is a palace of the imagination and a poetic harmonizing between man and the natural world. Creative and surprising patterns, molded organic materials, and the intriguing lines of Moroccan structural motifs make the Moroccan home an extraordinary visual playground in Abu Dhabi as well. The irregularities in shape, texture, and color, patterns borrow hues from the blue sky, from the earth and deserts through muted reds and honeyed yellows.
